台灣有網友寫了一篇關於用 iPhone 看中文聖經的 tutorial，詳情請參考這裡。

** Update: 在 1.1.4 或以前版本的 iPhone 上安裝聖經，簡單來說需要先從 Installer 下載並安裝 eBook 軟件，然後經由 SSH/SFTP 將 HTML 格式的繁體中文和合本聖經存至 iPhone 中以 eBook 閱讀。

** 2008-08-09 Update: 在 iPhone 3G/2.0 上安裝聖經。

簡述 AnySIM 軟解 iPhone 步驟九月 26. 2007

近日先後為多位親友的 iPhone 用 AnySIM 方法解鎖，詳細 Tutorial 我不打算寫了，反正用 Google 一找網上多的是，不過還是有一點心得想跟大家分享。

弄過的幾台 iPhone 都是出廠 firmware 為 1.0 的 8GB 版本，交給我之前完全沒被動過。

1. 先關掉 iTunes 7.4.2 及 iTunes Helper，然後用 iNdependence 1.2.1a Activate iPhone
2. 用 iTunes 來一個 Update & Restore 到 firmware 1.02，restart iPhone.
3. 再用 iNdependence 給它 jailbreak 及安裝 SSH，把 iPhone 以 WiFi 跟 Mac 連上同一個區域網絡
4. 用 Fugu 把 AnySIM.app (可在 Dev Wiki 找到, 最新版本為 1.02) 放到 /Applications/ 內，restart iPhone
5. 再開機你便會在 iPhone 的首頁看到多了一個 icon，點擊解鎖，然後把 AnySIM 從 /Application/ 中刪掉便行
6. 幸運的話你的 iPhone 就這樣被解鎖了，不過我沒這麼幸運，多次都出現 unlock failure
7. 原因也不詳說了 (這不是 tutorial)，先 unload 了 com.apple.CommCenter.plist，然後經 terminal 用 bbupdater 把 baseband (就是那顆著名的 Infineon SGold2) firmware 更新為 03.14 再用 AnySIM 解鎖便行 (英國 O2, 德國 T-Mobile 和法國 Orange 將會有售的 iPhone 均為 firmware 1.1.1，baseband firmware 4.02.04_G，所有軟解鎖方法暫不相容)

以上明顯是用 Mac 來解鎖的方法，別問我在 PC 上怎樣弄，我沒時間試。另外，如果閣下睇完上面 7 個 step 都唔知我係度 up 乜的話，我勸你唔好自己解啦，去先達比錢人賺吧啦。

Jessica Stam 在這幾年間平步青雲，僅在 2006 年便參與了 64 個頂尖的時裝騷，在網站 model.com 的 Top 50 models 中她曾高踞第 5 位，Marc Jacobs 更在 2006 年以她為名推出全球熱賣的 Stam Bag。這陣子大家翻開雜誌必可在 Bulgari、Lanvin、Escada、Christian Dior、DKNY、Miss Sixty 及 Roberto Cavalli 等硬照廣告中找到她。

#99 featured in rock music video 九月 23. 2007

Wayne Gretzky, NHL Hall-Of-Famer, whose #99 had been permanently retired by the National Hockey League and the Los Angeles Kings, was featured in the music video of Canadian rock band Nickelback's chart-topping hit "Rockstar", along with other celebrities including singer Nelly Furtado and NBA player Grant Hill.

By the time I wrote this, "Rockstar" ranked 6th on the US Billboard Top 100 chart.

iPhone lands on Her Majesty's soil 九月 19. 2007

Rumor has got it right this time, Steve Jobs today announced the UK O2-iPhone collaboration in London. But contrary to many's prediction, UK did not get a 3G iPhone.

Details and rate plans are available HERE on O2's website, the rates look reasonable to me compared to AT&T's, I especially admired the unlimited-data offer to all iPhone subcribers by O2.

400GB of enterprise grade storage 九月 17. 2007

Last week a kind friend of mine gave me a piece of goodie for free, a Seagate NL35 Series Nearline SATA HDD for 400GB of enterprise grade storage.

This 400GB easily became my largest HDD on hand, I have yet decided what to do with it. Most likely it will grace the E2140-based hackintosh once and for all.

聲畫俱佳的 The Heavens Are Telling 片段九月 16. 2007

記得去年 12 月左右為了要找 The Heavens Are Telling 的片段在網上左搜右刮，結果在本地 podcaster 林子揚的網站上找到 �宣詩班的。

當時想要聽這樂曲是因為深崇 110 週年堂慶詩班要獻唱，心想我這個不稱職的成員還是多聽一點為妙，好讓出醜也沒那麼明顯; 後來到老友粉皮的母會海面傳道會綵排他的大婚，剛巧詩班也在練習這樂曲... 近來我還發現小弟上面提到的那個舊 blog post 的搜尋和點擊率奇高。

It has been confirmed on various geek sources including Engadget, Gizmodo, digg.com and hackint0sh.org that a software iPhone unlocking solution has finally arrived. However, unlike what many people have been expecting, it did not come free of charge from the iPhone Dev Team, but rather from a commercial vender iPhoneSIMfree.com, at the price of slightly less than US$100.

So, for those who couldn't get your hands on TurboSIMs, this is it. It's not like you have other choices anyway, by the time I wrote this, Bladox has yet resumed selling the TurboSIM on its e-store.
