今年的立法會選舉被北京奧運搶去不少鋒頭，在剛過的兩個月無論媒體官員或是一般市民口中唸唸有詞的不是金牌數目就是程菲、郭晶晶、劉翔，誰會去理會長毛今趟抗議什麼，哪位民主戰士又宣佈選情告急? 一轉眼明天就是投票的大日子，綜觀各黨派無論背景、政綱還是候選人，似乎都只有自由黨值得考慮。

民協、社民連等少數政黨著重基層選票，其政綱對於筆者來說固然毫無共鳴，況且站在香港長遠經濟發展的宏觀角度來看，這種政黨有部分建議不過是向基層選民派糖，毫無遠見。民主黨逢中逢港府必反，骨子裡根本是一班搞屎棍，不消提! 民建聯形象過份親中，本人愛國但不左傾，況且民建聯鐵票不乏，用不著我支持。公民黨嘛，無他，只因我覺得袋巾梁家傑囂張兼討厭。

以上僅為本人的主觀意見，絕無左右各位的意圖，但政治本來就是非常主觀的一件事，不是嗎?

Some friends have criticized me racial discriminating in this post, this is not true and I apologize to those who found my analysis offensive. Having been living in a North American country as a racial minority for so many years, there is no reason for me to discriminate anyone at all.

I was simply trying to share my observation that despite how democratic the Americans think or claim their country is, it is still an understood practice for the Americans to find themselves a white president, I would love to be proven wrong but at this point I see very little possibility for this to happen.

To me this long-awaited election by itself is already a great leap forward, for anti-war Americans it represents finally an end to the “Mad-Cowboy” regime; for the rest of the world it means an escape from the US military threat led by that stupid warlord-wannabe.

Let's just say I am more realistic than democratic, how on earth could Mrs. Anson Chan contribute to Hong Kong democracy and universal suffrage as a councillor given her relationship with local and national government? Mrs. Ip seems to me the only logical choice!

9/11 事隔 6 年，慘劇早已淪為布殊到處揮軍掠奪石油控制權的借口。堂堂世界警察美國不惜變成政治流氓，不要面子也要石油，其作為國防及政治籌碼的重要性可見一班。

身為中國人的你，除了啷啷上口的 857 和 386 以外，是否應該抽點時間認識一下石油政治對中國的外交、國防以及未來的國情發展有什麼關係和影響?

最近我在查看關於這個課題的資料時發現了一個內地博客 (blog)，對石油政治在中國有很詳盡的分析，不妨一看。

早在今年三月阿扁發動「正名」運動，將數家台灣政府經營企業名字裡的「中國」換成「台灣」開始，台灣的政治舞台經已變成一個讓人貽笑大方的爛攤子。如今他在任期的最後一年大搞「正名」，容許我說，根本是老羞成怒在發爛渣。小弟絕非一味高舉青天白日滿地紅的國民黨粉絲，在陳水扁這鄉巴佬和他的幕僚跟前，老實說，任誰走出來也格外顯得有大將之風，我看隨便找個梁家傑去管理台灣也會比阿扁好。

陳水扁這一輪「正名」運動也實在太小家，太沒有政治量度了。香港作為前英國殖民地，彌敦道、皇后大道東這等街名的來歷不會比中正紀念堂來得光采吧? 1997 回歸後這些街名也沒有被「正名」為小平路、人民大道東，為什麼呢? 因為稍為有腦袋的政客都知都這些不過是歷史的一部份，對主權的宣示沒大幫助之餘又擾民，打它們的主意百害而無一利，倒不如五十年不變，一切照舊，為自己儲蓄一點政治本錢還來得合乎邏輯。

1. 中正紀念堂須改為台正紀念堂
2. 國立中山大學變成國立台山大學
3. 順理成章地，凡名字有中字的都必須以台字取代... 於是，國父孫中山也慘被「正名」為孫台山先生!

The new J-10 is a Joint Chinese-Israel operation.

The Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) and the 611 institute began development of the J-10 during the 1980s, as part of an effort to produce a single-engined, single-seat multi-role, fighter to replace the obsolete J-7 fighter and the Q-5 attack aircraft.

With a reported take off weight of 42,00lb, the J-10 is about 1/3 lighter than the Su-27K deployed aboard Russia's Admiral Kuznetsov, allowing it to operate more easily from a smaller deck, and take off with full load from a Russian-style ski-jump.

殲-10是一種單發單垂尾10噸級輕型空中優勢多用途戰機，採用新一代戰機流行的機腹進氣、雙三角中單翼加三角前翼的近耦合鴨式氣動佈局。殲-10極有可能同其他第四代戰機一樣，採用四重數位化線傳飛控系統。雷達方面，預計將採用國產脈衝多普勒JL-10雷達，搜索距離100千米∼130千米，攻擊距離80千米∼90千米，可同時跟蹤6個目標，並選定4個加以鎖定摧毀。採用俄制 AL-31F 渦扇噴氣發動機，最大加力推力為12260千牛，自身推重比在8左右。
